"Alem" is a modern ballet created on the basis of the Turkic epic, which tells of the birth of the soul, its path from heaven to earthly life through darkness and trials.
This is the first production of a large form in the repertoire of the "Astana Ballet" Theater. The play was staged by the Moscow choreographer Nikita Dmitrievsky to the music of Armand Amar and Bulat Gafarov. The author of the libretto is the famous Kazakh poet and director Bakhyt Kairbekov.
